Defining Photos of 2020

Every year we compile photos from the previous summer for Camp Pemi’s archives. These images document and define our shared experience, and many are used to connect prospective campers, current families, staff, and alumni throughout the year via our social media posts and by keeping the Pemi website fresh and up-to-date. Though the cancellation of our traditional 2020 season was unprecedented, the Pemi family still shared countless moments of joy. Here are just a few!

NYC Alumni Gathering
Pemi Alumni gathered together on February 8, 2020 in Brooklyn, NY. We so look forward to future, in-person events!
Staff Zoom
In April 2020, members of the Pemi Staff connected on Zoom, to check in on one another and to share in the Pemi spirit!
Danny Kerr & Winston Moore
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! Young Winston Moore joined Director Danny Kerr in welcoming our first guests to Family Camp. Dates for Family Camp 2021 will be released soon!

Pemi Kid Challenge
Weekly Pemi Kid Challenges helped virtually connect the Pemi Community throughout the unusual 2020 summer. In Week 5, we surpassed our challenge to have 250 participants log a mile for “Tecumseh Day.” Enjoy this montage of Pemi milers donned in their Pemi gear!
Waterskiing
New and experienced water-skiers tested out their turns behind the motor boat

Sunset
“… Perhaps as life’s memories are gathered, the camp ones will be with the best, as the moon drifts low o’er the hill side and finally drops in the west.”
