2025 Pemi West - 16s Program!

Canoeing & Backpacking in Montana & Yellowstone National Park and Counselor Apprentice Program

The 2025 16s program will consist of a two-week excursion in Montana, in partnership with the Montana Wilderness School. Boys will spend a week each:

  • Canoeing on the Upper Missouri River, and
  • Backpacking in Yellowstone National Park.

Throughout both legs of the trip, boys will learn valuable lessons in leadership, wilderness skills, conservation, ecology, and more from an experienced Pemi trip leader and a pair of Montana Wilderness School outdoor educators. The program concludes with an optional 10-day Counselor Apprentice Program back at Pemi where boys can put their leadership skills to work while learning about and preparing for the Pemi staff experience.
