Note: PLEASE do not arrive earlier than specified, unless you’ve received permission from a director, as our staff will be extremely busy with last-minute tasks.
Returning camper families should plan to arrive at Pemi between 10:30 AM and 12 noon to reunite with old friends, have lunch, and prepare to greet our new campers. Parents are invited to drop by the Lodge to say hi!
New camper families should plan to arrive at Pemi between 2:30 PM and 3:15 PM, with an optional meeting for parents of new campers scheduled for 3:30 PM.
Families with both returning and new campers may choose from above, and don’t hesitate to be in touch if we can help you decide which time frame to choose!
Parents, please discuss the following ahead of time with your son, so that he knows what to expect: when you arrive at the cabin, take as much time as you need to meet your son’s counselor and speak with him. We ask, however, that you depart quickly once your son’s baggage has been delivered to the cabin, and we request specifically that you do not help him unpack and make his bed. His counselor is eager and prepared to do this. Unpacking and making his bed is your son’s first opportunity to bond with his counselor and cabin mates, and it will greatly enhance his initial adjustment to let this occur. Difficult though it may be, a short, unemotional farewell from the cabin is recommended. Avoid the last walk back to the car! Once you have deposited your son at his cabin, you are invited for a reception (or meeting) in the Lodge, where the directors and senior staff very much look forward to saying hello and chatting. Refreshments will be served. Tissues will be provided.

US campers should fly to Manchester, NH (MHT) and should try to schedule flights to arrive between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
International campers should fly to Boston Logan International (BOS) and should try to schedule flights to arrive between 12 noon and 4:00 PM.
