Visit Pemi in Session
If you’ve started your camp search early enough to allow for a visit while camp is in full swing, we suggest that you call or email to arrange a date and time to stop by during the camp season.
An ideal visit includes:
- morning arrival around 11:30am
- tour of camp’s facilities with time to watch campers engaged in their activities Explore Pemi’s activities >>
- lunch in the messhall Read about meals >>
- departure around 1:30pm
Many visitors say they get the true “feel” of community during lunch, by chatting with campers and counselors, eating our fresh and delicious food, and enjoying the traditional (and often boisterous) singing that follows the meal.
Schedule a Home Visit
If visiting Pemi during the summer isn’t an option, consider learning about Pemi in the comfort of your own living room. Depending upon where you live, Director Danny Kerr or Assistant Director Kenny Moore would love to come to your home to meet you and to answer any questions you or your son(s) might have about a summer at Camp Pemigewassett. We travel regularly throughout New England and the mid-Atlantic during the application season, and typically schedule home visits during the week after school and before dinner, or on weekends, mid-morning. If you live beyond this geographic area, don’t hesitate to request a home visit as our travel schedule often includes jaunts far and wide. If at all possible, we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
To schedule a tour of Pemi during the summer or to request a home visit during the “off-season,” please email director Danny Kerr. We look forward to meeting you either “home or away!”
